Dr. Heather Eddington-Reese earned her doctorate of optometry with honors from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in May of 2000. She also received several awards including Marshall of her graduating class and the Bausch and Lomb Great Start Contact Lens Award.

During an externship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, she gained experience in primary care and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Prior to joining the Medical Center Clinic, Dr. Heather Eddington-Reese practiced optometry in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Heather Eddington-Reese is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association and the Northwest Florida Optometric Association.

Dr. Heather Eddington-Reeses main area of interest and concentration is primary eye care. She fits specialty contact lenses in keratoconic and post-corneal transplant patients. She also offers low vision examinations to patients who are visually impaired and in need of rehabilitation.
